I'm happy to say, yes! There is plenty of opportunity to play a sport at the collegiate level. NCAA has DI, DII and DIII. There are at least two other governing bodies that I can think of. First, NAIA. They operate on bylaws as a completely separate entity than the NCAA. Second NJCAA, which is junior college. There is nothing wrong with going to a junior college. If nothing else, its much cheaper and you can transfer with collegiate experience.
Ideally, starting your freshman year of high school is the prime year to outline your collegiate path, but as long as you are willing to put the work in starting a little later is okay as well.
From the moment you become a part of the Think Futbol College Consultation family we outline all the steps needed to take to expose your talent and ensure your academic goals are synchronized. The most important part of this process is understanding what you want as a student and as an athlete. We do this by setting up 10 sessions with each athlete (1/month) for a 10 month program.
